Increase in payments for utilities should not exceed six percent in Bashkortostan in 2014. Indices of tariffs changes for utility services in separate subjects of the Russian Federation are approved by the Decree of the Government RF on April 30. The document was published on Tuesday on the website of the Government of Russia.

In addition to the average regional index the maximum allowable deviation from it by municipalities is approved — also in the amount of six percent. As the department of housing and utility regulation and social services of the State Committee RB on Tariffs explains, in some municipalities charges for public utility services could grow by 12 percent, but the average growth of tariffs across Bashkortostan cannot exceed the established six percent. Limit in growth of tariffs in separate territories of the republic shall be determined in the near future by the republican Government.

Most of all in the country payments for utilities may grow in Yakutia and the Kamchatka region – by 6.7 percent. The smallest index is set for North Ossetia — Alania: 3.2 percent.
