Professor from Japan acquainted Bashkir Academy students with views of leading Asian countries on Russia

Bashkir Academy of Public Administration and Management under the President RB held a meeting with Professor Faculty of Law, University of Tokyo (Japan) Kimitaka Matsuzato. Guests arrived in Ufa in connection with preparations for the upcoming World Congress of Sociologists, which will be held in 2015.

As the Rector of Academy Sergey Lavrentiev informs, the scientist from Japan will meet with lecturers and staff of the academy, will talk about participation in the World Congress.

“Kimitaka Matsuzato is a well-known person in the scientific community. He is seriously engaged in studying Russia. A visit of such people once again shows that regardless of any sanctions the country cannot be isolated”, Sergey Lavrentiev said.

On the first day a guest from Japan gave the lecture "Formation and decay of ethno-territorial federalism: a comparison of the Soviet Union, China and India". Tomorrow, on April 30, a methodological seminar with his participation will be held. Professor will make a presentation of the World Congress of Sociology and will talk about how Russia is studied in China, Mongolia, India, South Korea and Turkey.
