Ufa student became a prizewinner of the International Scientific Forum on Subsoil Management Issues

University of Mines (St. Petersburg ) hosted the IX International Scientific Forum-Competition for students and young scientists "Topical Issues of Subsoil Use". It was attended by about 400 people from more than sixty Russian and foreign specialized universities.

This year almost ten times more foreign delegations came to St. Petersburg, including those from Freiberg Mining Academy (Germany) , Coventry University (UK), McGill University (Canada), Cracow University of Science and Technology (Poland), South-Eastern Oil University of China.

Awarding was held in ten categories. A student of Ufa State Petroleum Technological University Kyril Verzhbitsky became a winner in the nomination "Topical issues in prospecting and development of oil and gas deposits ". He was awarded a diploma of the second degree.

According to the results of the contest 42 students received grants for postgraduate studies at universities of the consortium of universities of Russian mineral complex, the press service of the National Mineral Resources University informs.

Among them there is also a representative of Ufa State Petroleum Technological University Kyril Verzhbitsky.
