Russian CEC head Vladimir Churov will designate tasks for single voting day at a meeting in Ufa
A seminar-meeting with the chairmen of election commissions of subjects of the Russian Federation, included in the Volga and Ural Federal Districts will open in Ufa on April 24. The forum will be chaired by the Russian Central Election Commission head Vladimir Churov. Election officials will determine the tasks of election commissions for preparation and conducting elections to bodies of state power of subjects of the Russian Federation and local self-government on a single voting day September 14, 2014.
The two-day forum program includes a plenary session to discuss the tasks of election commissions for the preparation and holding elections on the single voting day, to exchange experience between the chairmen of election commissions, as well as between partners of election commissions on the issues of interaction of judicial bodies, migration service with the organizers of the elections.
It is also planned to hold a roundtable session and practical training in one of the territorial election commissions of Ufa.
