Ufa police detained two SUV stolen from residents of Moscow and St. Petersburg
On April 9, in Ufa policemen detained cars included in the federal wanted list.
In Bessonov Street in the Soviet residential district of Ufa traffic police officers stopped a "Toyota" jeep. The database of stolen cars showed that the car had been registered in the federal wanted list since September 2013.
The examination established that numbers on the engine and the car body were changed. The car worth more than one million rubles belonged to a resident of St. Petersburg.
Metropolitan traffic police officers stopped another SUV "Range Rover" in Gagarin Street in Sipaylovo residential district. And here forensic experts of Bashkir MIA found changes of identification numbers on the car body parts and engine.
The foreign car of "luxury" class has been in the federal wanted list since November last year. The legal owner of the vehicle resides in Moscow. The cost of the stolen car is over three million rubles.
Both foreign cars were placed on the car pound to clarify all circumstances of the crimes, the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Bashkortostan Republic informs.
