Ufa townspeople will be presented the best of Russian shorts
On April 17 and 18, KinoMaK studio and Ufa "Rodina" cinema invite the audience to the Short Film Festival "KinoVzryv".
The purpose of this event is to promote young cinema, which is gaining recognition at world festivals. Among the authors of the shorts are the best directors, graduates of the All-Russian State Institute of Cinematography, St. Petersburg State University of Cinema and Television.
Four short films will be presented to Ufa townspeople for two days. This is a lyrical novel "Lost House" directed by Nicholay Kotyash, the comedy "Secrets of Family Happiness" by Karo Sarikyan, the drama «F5» by Timothy Zhalnin, a science fiction "The Second Breath" by Sergey Tsyss. Filming of the last short took place partly in Beloretsk region. The film is a parable about the last artist on Earth. During a year of the festival distribution this film won 20 international awards at various film festivals.
The "KinoVzryv" is the first experience of the Russian short films festival for Ufa. Now it will be held seasonally in the "Rodina" cinema. An online conference with the directors of the submitted films will be also held within the project.
The beginning of film shows is at 19 o'clock.
