Bashkiria’s humanitarian aid for Crimea arrived in Kerch
Yesterday the convoy carrying humanitarian aid from Bashkortostan to Crimea residents arrived in the seaport of Kerch. As the member of the expedition, the head of the press service of the Government RB Pavel Samoilin informs, no problems arise on the way, everything goes well, as scheduled. The convoy still has about 250 km to go to Simferopol, the capital of the Republic of Crimea.
“We are going to deliver the goods to Simferopol today. We are planning to talk with the leaders of Crimea, deputies of the State Council, residents of the city, to visit the city of Sevastopol”, the head of the expedition, the chairman of Goskomzakaz RB Sergey Novikov says.
Recall that formed on the order of the President RB humanitarian aid to residents of new regions of Russia in the Crimean peninsula departed from Ufa on March 24. The caravan consists of four heavy trucks. The Ministry of Agriculture RB together with the "Bashagroprodukt" enterprise prepared 36 tons of foodstuffs, which included: flour, cereals, pasta, canned meat, condensed milk and milk powder, sunflower oil and honey.
Besides, medical preparations, about 70 items of different drugs will be delivered to Crimea.
