Average cost of housing was 59.6 thousand rubles per sq m in Ufa at the end of February. According to the National Association of the Estimated Pricing and Value Engineering, in February residential property prices rose by 1.7 percent in the capital, by 3.3 percent since the beginning of the year.
The sample included blocks of flats in the secondary market, as well as new buildings commissioned or in the process of commissioning. The study was made on the basis of open sources over 31 biggest cities of Russia and the Moscow Region.
According to the study, in February housing rose in prices with rates higher than in Ufa in such cities as Bryansk (1.9 percent), Chelyabinsk, Saratov and Rostov-on-Don (1.8 percent). At the end of February the average price of residential housing ranged from 37,000 rubles per sq m in Kursk and Novokuznetsk to 85.4 thousand rubles in St. Petersburg and 156.4 thousand rubles in Moscow.
