IX Industrial Show opened "VDNKh-Expo" in Ufa


Today in Ufa the IX Industrial salon opened in the new exhibition complex "VDNKh-Expo". It is the largest in the country industrial project where experts from the leading Russian and foreign companies demonstrate the advanced equipment and technology, exchange their practical experience, as well as discuss the development trends of the industrial sector.

During the Industrial Salon from March 18 to 20 there will be two special exhibitions — "Overalls. Occupational Safety and Health" and "Promexpo. Machines and Tools", the press service of the Ministry of Labour RB informs.

More than 100 enterprises from 15 regions of Russia, including Perm, Ulyanovsk regions, Tatarstan, Moscow and St. Petersburg take part in the exhibitions 2014.

The opening of the Industry Salon and specialized exhibition "Overalls. Occupational Safety" was attended by the Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of Bashkortostan Dmitry Sharonov, Minister of Labour and Social Protection RB Lenara Ivanova, deputy chairman of the Federation of Trade Unions RB Valery Apokin, heads of the regional branch of the Russian Engineering Union and other officials.

On March 20, the capital of Bashkortostan will host the interregional seminar-meeting on the implementation of law on special assessment of working conditions.

Ufa will host ministers of Volga and Ural Federal Districts, as well as a large delegation from the Ministry of Labour of Russia headed by the First Deputy Minister of Labour and Social Protection RF Sergey Velmyaykin.

As previously reported, since January 1 this year, federal law approved a change from workplaces certification to a special assessment of working conditions. Under the new law, jobs in Russia are now divided into four categories: "optimal class", "admissible class", " harmful class" and " hazardous class."
