On the territory of the republic, as well as in other regions, access to several online publications is blocked: this is information websites "Daily Journal" (ej.ru), "Grani" (grani.ru), "Kasparov.ru" (kasparov.ru), as well as a popular blog by the politician Alexey Navalny in LiveJournal (navalny.livejournal.com). Providers made it at the request of the Federal Service for Supervision of Communications, Information Technology and Mass Media (Roscomnadzor), which, in turn had received an instruction of the Prosecutor General of Russia. As to the blog of Alexey Navalny, in the opinion of the Prosecutor General, its operation violates the judicial decision (recall that the court banned Navalny blogging, but his colleagues and family members continued to do this, and the statements of the politician himself appeared on the website in the form of answers to interview questions).
When you enter the above mentioned online resources Bashkortostan providers inform that "access is denied" and refer to the Unified Register of websites containing information which distribution is prohibited in the Russian Federation, and Livejournal displays "Error 451": "In the territory of your country preview of this page is prohibited by authorities".
