Pink Panther Festival will gather world jazz stars in Ufa for the eighteenth time

From April 11 to 13 at the scene of the Bashkir State Philharmonic Society the XVIII International Jazz Festival "Pink Panther" will be held with the best Russian and foreign jazz musicians.

Arkady Shilkloper (horn, Alpine horn / Germany), Vladimir Shafranov (jazz piano/Finland), Andrew Zloyan (guitar/Tyumen) and Ufa musicians — jazz quartet "Ufa" and big band of Philharmonic Society will open the festival.

Audience will have a meeting with American jazz singer Dee Daniels, Oleg Gasimov’s jazz quartet, new jazz band with participation of DenielLepetiOndogoOndogo (vocals, bas-guitar/Kamerun), Michael Volokh (trumpet, duduk/Moscow), Alexander Mogilevich (drums/New York), Oleg Anokhin (piano/Kazan).

The festival will include traditional matinee at the Organ Hall, where young Ufa musicians together Vladimir Shafranov will perform.

American saxophonist Bill Saxton, a legend of jazz is the headliner of the third day.

Besides, on March 30, Cleveland Watkiss, the British singer, virtuoso and composer, the London «Jazz Awards» winner will give a performance.

The Jazz Pink Panther will be closed with a gala concert featuring the festival guests and Ufa musicians. A detailed program of the great jazz marathon is available on the official website of Bashkir State Philharmonic Society.
