Specialists of Ufa Engine Industrial Association (UMPO) Alexander Petukhov, Dmitry Hraputsky have won the All-Russian competition "The Engineer of the Year 2013", the press service of the association informs.
The principal manufacturing engineer Alexander Petukhov submitted to the contest his work "The antecedent events usage for vibration diagnostics of AL-31F engines when tested in service centres." He won the competition in the nomination "Engineering art of young".
Deputy Chief of UMPO test room Dmitry Hraputsky worked on information and diagnostic software for frontline aircraft engines. The jury awarded him the title "The Professional Engineer of Russia" and a lapel pin.
The UMPO press service notes that both young engineers regularly participate in forums, conferences and seminars of both regional and national scale, have various awards.
Organizers of the competition "The Engineer of the Year" were the Russian Union of Scientific and Engineering Organizations, the International Union of Scientific and Engineering Associations, the A.M.Prokhorov’s Academy of Engineering Sciences and Interregional Public Fund for Scientific and Technological Progress.
