TV channel "Culture" named the "Copper heel" dance as "a model of Bashkir masculinity with elements of arm wrestling and horseman moves." Metropolitan viewers were presented reconstructed dances by Gaskarov and new ones, for example, "Kalinka".
Today the artistic heritage of the ensemble includes 170 dances. The repertoire along with original Bashkir productions has dances of 200 nations of the world. our countrymen received the gold medal of UNESCO "Five Continents" and a diploma "Ambassador of Peace" for the active promotion of national dances. In Russia, only two folk dance ensembles are honoured with this award. The Gaskarov’s dancers are the second after Igor Moiseyev’s Ensemble, the teacher of Bashkir legendary choreographer.
After the concert in Moscow the Faizi Gaskarov’s Ensemble has great plans. Further they will have a long anniversary tour.
