Ufa will welcome Russian festival "Dusha Narodnaya 2014"

The Russian Festival among visually impaired people "Dusha Narodnaya 2014" will be held in the building of the Republican Creativity House for Disabled People from February 28 to March 2. About 150 people from Moscow, Vladimir, Saratov, Krasnodar, Astrakhan, Ulyanovsk, Perm, Saransk, Samara, Kurgan, Chelyabinsk, the Republic of Tatarstan and other regions and cities will gather in Ufa to participate in the event. Winners of qualifying rounds will take part in the final. They were held in the republic on February 8 and 9.

Soloists, vocalists and instrumental ensembles, comprising not less than 50 percent of visually impaired participants are invited to take part in the competition.

According to the director of the Creativity House for Disabled People Gulchachak Zaripova, the Festival was established in 2011. It is held every two years in different regions of Russia. The first festival was held in Kazan.
