A pleasant surprise was that the director of the concert venue was Ufa resident, the former actor of Russian Drama Theatre Damir Shiryaev,” Olga Andreeva says. “Svetlana Zhurova, the Olympic skating champion, the mayor of the Olympic Village showed interest to our Ensemble and we managed to talk with her, take pictures and autographs.”
Next the Ensemble danced at the stage of the Olympic Park. The final performance was at the sports complex "Laura" in the Olympic Village "Krasnaya Polyana". Here the mayor is biathlete Maxim Chudov.
In addition to performances, the artists were lucky enough to attend open trainings in short track and figure skating, cheer for the Russian athletes at competitions and witness the awarding ceremony of biathletes and skaters.
