Bashkortostan President and the head of Rosgeologiya holding discussed issues of bilateral cooperation

On February 10, the President of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov met with Roman Panov, General Director of Rosgeologiya. Issues related to the creation of conditions for further geological surveys were discussed, the press service of the republic informs.

“We would like to consider global issues of agreement between Bashkortostan and joint-stock company "Rosgeologiya". Of course, there are issues related to the functioning of our major companies engaged in geophysical investigations of mineral resources. We would like to participate in this process understanding that our businesses could work together with you as part of the company, or in close cooperation,” Rustem Khamitov said.

"Bashkortostan is a basis of oil and gas industry development. Thus, it is very important for us to define the way and possibilities of cooperation with the republic, republican enterprises as a part of the company's development and expansion of the geography of our presence", Roman Popov underlined.

“Tentatively we examined the prospects for cooperation with enterprises of Bashkortostan. It is planned to form a single engineering centre within the holding which will consolidate assets related to the development and introduction of new geophysical tools, new drilling equipment. This theme is very relevant. Bashkortostan is one of the leaders in the Russian Federation with regard to the production of such equipment, technological support. This is a task that we will decide together”, the head of Rosgeologiya marked.
