Pension Fund of Bashkortostan sent 16.7 million rubles to co-finance social programs in 2013
Subsidies for social programs are annually allocated from the budget of the Pension Fund since 1999.
In 2013, for this purpose 16.7 million rubles were allocated, of which 2.1 million rubles were used for partial reimbursement of the housing gasification of 852 pensioners and recipients of pensions for old age or disability, 9.1 million rubles for repairs in six institutions of social services, the press office of Bashkortostan Department of the Pension Fund of Russia informs.
Kitchen, bath and laundry equipment for five neuropsychiatric institutions was purchased for 3.2 million rubles.
In addition, 10 vehicles were purchased to render urgent social and health care services for elderly people at complex social service centres of Alsheevsky, Baltachevsky, Belokataysky, Zianchurinsky, Chishminsky, Sharansky regions, cities of Ishimbay, Blagoveshchensk, Dyurtyuli and Tuimazy.
“These activities helped to improve the living conditions of more than two thousand people,” Foat Khantimerov, the head of Bashkortostan Department of the Pension Fund said.
