The exhibition "Land keeping traditions" that will open in Ufa on February 6, will feature photographs by artists from Italy, Brazil, Turkey, China, India, Lithuania, the CIS and Bashkortostan. The exhibition includes about 120 photographs taken in Bashkortostan. Within the framework of the international event "Nature. People. Culture" photographers rafted down the Bashkir rivers, traveled from village to village, climbed the mountains, met with people and got acquainted with the national way of life. The project began in 1990; the geography of its participants expands each time.
According to the chairman of the Union of Photographers of Russia Andrei Baskakov, this exhibition is unique. It is possible to see works of foreign photographers at the centre of contemporary art "Oblaka" until February 24.
