This week frosty weather remains in Bashkortostan with an average temperatures by 8-10 degrees below historical averages.
“It is expected partly cloudy, dry weather. Occasional light snow is possible. The air temperature at the beginning and the end of the week will be minus 23-28 degrees Celsius, in some areas down to minus 35. During the day the temperature will be from minus 18 to 23 degrees,” Anna Kozaeva, the chief forecaster of Bashkir Hydrometeorological Agency informs.
Overnight Wednesday to Thursday, from January 29 to 30 and from Thursday to Friday frosts will intensify. Night temperatures will drop to 30-35 degrees below zero, in some places (mainly in northern, northeastern and mountainous areas) – to minus 40-45 degrees. Daytime temperatures will range from minus 25 to 30 degrees Celsius, the chief forecaster of the republic warns.
