Moscow will host a festival in memory of Salavat Nizametdinov

Today, December 27, a meeting of the Chairman of the "Union of Composers of Russia" Vladislav Kazenin with the head of the "Association of Postgraduates and Graduate Students of Bashkortostan in Moscow and St. Petersburg" Azat Badranov was held in Moscow.

At the meeting it was agreed to hold the Student Festival of Bashkir Songs devoted to the memory of Salavat Nizametdinov. The event will be held among the amateurs in the Bashkir language in three categories: "folk songs", "pop songs that became folk" and "bard songs".

The organizing committee of the festival will also include representatives of Bashkortostan Representative Office in Moscow, Bashkir satellite TV, Charitable Foundation "Heritage" and the Composers' Union RB.

The festival will be held in the Grand Concert Hall of the Moscow House of Composers on April 16, 2014.
