Implementation of the Action Plan to increase the salary of public sector employees in Bashkortostan for 2011-2015 contributed to the rise in average monthly wages in nominal terms by 11.9 percent, in real terms — by 4.7 percent in January-October 2013. This was discussed at the meeting of the Republican Tripartite Commission for the regulation of social and labour relations in the Government of Bashkortostan Republic.
As the Deputy Minister of Economic Development RB Liliya Mazitova informs, as a result of measures taken in January-October 2013, the average monthly salary in education sector reached 17,149 rubles and increased by 28.8 percent compared to the same period of the last year according to Bashkortostan Statistics Agency.
The average monthly salary of public health and social services sphere amounted to 19,465 rubles, an increase of 21.8 percent for this period.
“Thus, the ratio of the average monthly wages in the education sector to the average wages across the republic increased by 11.4 percentage points, from 67.1 percent for the 10 months of 2012 to 78.5 percent for the 10 months of 2013. It increased by 8.6 percentage points in the public health and social services sphere, from 80.5 to 89.1 percent” Liliya Mazitova noted.
