At once 10 cities of Bashkiria are included in the rating of Russian major industrial centres

The rating of the 250 largest industrial centers was made by the Institute of Territorial Planning "Urbanika". It includes 10 cities of Bashkortostan with total industrial output of 878.7 billion rubles.

Ufa is located on the seventh place of Тop-250 with an index of 420.2 billion rubles. Apart from the capital of the republic, the list includes Salavat (39th place, 168.8 billion rubles), Neftekamsk (69th place, 81.9 billion rubles), Sterlitamak (86th place, 64.5 billion), Yanaul (151st place, 34.5 billion) Ishimbay (197 place 24.6 billion rubles), Uchaly (205th place 23.2 billion rubles) , Dyurtyuli (212th place 21.5 billion rubles), Beloretsk (213th place 21.5 billion rubles) and Blagoveshchensk (241st place 18 billion rubles).

Ufa ranks seventh in the "Urbanika" for the third consecutive year. Holding the "industrial" positions Ufa simultaneously improves the standings in environmental ratings. Uchaly went up in Top-250 by 11 positions, Neftekamsk – by one. The rest of Bashkir cities had a decrease in the indices, compared with the last rating.

Analysts note that 76 percent of the country's industrial output is accounted for 250 largest industrial centres. The study results reveal reference centres, growth and recession areas of domestic industry.
