At the National Museum RB representatives of six museums of the Volga Federal District demonstrated their projects created at the expense of the Russian government subsidies. The grant in the sum of 30 million rubles was allocated to the noncommercial partnership "Union of Museums of Bashkortostan" headed by the Director of the National Museum RB Ghali Valliullin for the project "Treasures of the Volga Museums". Gathered in Ufa heads of museums of Bashkortostan, Tatarstan, Udmurtia, Mordovia, Penza and Orenburg told about the work they had done.
Saransk and Orenburg museums organized a touring exhibition to distant regions of the republic. Izhevsk museum workers managed to meet the requests of residents of remote areas, to arrange thematic exhibitions — landscapes, a solo exhibition of the artist. Also, all the museums made virtual exhibitions and granted CDs of them to schools.
The National Museum exhibition includes works of the founders of the Bashkir painting and drawing, their followers and disciples — Julia Blumenthal, Kasim Davletkildeev, Alexander Tyulkin, Alexander Burzyantsev, Boris Domashnikov, Rashit Nurmukhametov.
