This winter twenty two ice towns will appear and more than 50 New Year trees will be established in Ufa. This was reported by the head of the city administration Irek Yalalov at the executive meeting. He noted that there were not so many New Year’s celebration places in the capital of Bashkortostan before.
The City Manager also marked that the main issue was the safety provision of citizens during the New Year's holiday.
Recall that the opening of the main New Year’s Tree in Lenin Square is scheduled for December 25-26. Also citizens will enjoy two large slides, the festival zone "Vjugovey 2014" will be allocated, playgrounds for children of preschool age and catering facilities will be arranged. Energy-efficient technologies and modern compositions with illuminated sculptures will be used at decoration of the square. A skating rink will be organised there too. To date a 27 metres high New Year’s Tree is already installed in the square.
