The Chamber of Commerce and Industry presented the National rating on high-performance work positions in Russian regions prepared by the CCI and the rating agency "Expert RA".
The formulation of the document is based on two main components — specific revenue per employee and the number of newly created jobs. By the end of 2012 Bashkortostan took the sixth place on these indicators among ten leading regions. Experts believe that this is the result of purposeful work on creating high performance workplaces in industry and technologically advanced sectors.
It is noted in the summary of the analytical report that Russia is the second to last among all countries in the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development on labour productivity calculated on the basis of GDP per worker, ahead only Mexico. In the largest domestic companies, on average, 183 thousand dollars of annual turnover is accounted per employee – it is 3.4 times less than in the largest companies in Japan, almost three times less than in Western Europe and the United States and 1.7 times less than that of the leading corporations from Russia’s partner countries of BRICS.
The average rate on jobs creating was 45-50 per 1000 employees in the regions of Russia.
The data considered in the rating generally showed relatively positive trend in labour productivity in 2012. Labor productivity calculated in terms of revenue per employee increased by 6.9 percent and amounted to about 865 thousand rubles for a year countrywide.
