Rustem Khamitov met with the leadership of Siemens company

On November 19, at the House of the Republic the President RB Rustem Khamitov met with the head of the Siemens company in Russia (LLC Siemens) Dietrich Möller and directors of electrical concern subdivisions.

Turning to the guest, the head of the republic noted that "we have to think about the possibilities of setting up new production facilities in the republic".

“Perhaps, we should think about a construction of new enterprises, participation in the development of certain industries, such as electronics. We are interested exactly in this. This is a common practice just to buy equipment, whatever good it may be, considering that there are a lot of proposals in the market. But it's more interesting for us to locate enterprises here, to work over establishing certain production facilities,” the President of Bashkortostan said.

“Here you showed us your map where Perm, Yekaterinburg are marked. But where is Ufa or Sterlitamak? If Ufa, Sterlitamak or another city of our republic is available on your map, then our relationship will be different right away. We need new businesses, we need investments. It’s the main thing for us. And we can not buy any locomotive at you, any high-speed train, and any ready-made solutions for road management. But we can do it together: create a base, work on a joint design with our design centres and institutes. And then we will get mutual benefit”, Rustem Khamitov said.

A detailed report on the negotiations of the President of Bashkortostan with the head of the Siemens company in Russia is available on the official website  of the head of the republic.
