On November 21-22, the delegation of the Advanced Research Foundation will visit Bashkortostan. It was established in October 2012 on the initiative of the Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin to implement high-risk research and development in the interests of national defense and security.
The delegation will be headed by the Deputy Director General for Information and Analytics Anatoly Shurygin. Representatives of the Foundation are going to get acquainted with the scientific, educational and industrial infrastructure of the region, to visit universities and enterprises of military-industrial complex, to meet with the leaders of the republic.
As Andrey Grigoriev, the Director General of the Foundation noted in a telephone interview to Bashinform News Agency “a good scientific and industrial infrastructure is concentrated in the republic, there is a technological advance in the field of engine-building, means of processing and transmission of information, robotic systems. We hope that by results of the visit a long-term mutually beneficial partnership will be set between the Foundation and the enterprises of Bashkortostan, including in the development of advanced weapons systems".
