Population of Bashkiria has increased by 7411 people for nine months
In January-September, the population of Bashkortostan increased by 7411 people. According to Bashkortostan Statistics Agency, natural increase was 3,869 people, migration gain – 3542 people.
The birth rate during this period increased by 0.6 percent compared to January — September 2012. And mortality was higher by 0.4 percent.
For nine months 43,952 babies were born in the republic. The birth rate rose in Ufa, Agidel, Neftekamsk , Octyabrsky, Sterlitamak and several other cities, as well as in 16 municipal areas.
During the same period 40,083 people died.
Statistics pointed out the natural increase of population in seven regions of the Volga Federal District: in Tatarstan (plus 7467 people), Bashkortostan (3869), Udmurtia (2099), Perm (1077), the Orenburg region (1021), Chuvashia (644) and Mari El (510).
Among the main causes of death in Bashkortostan traditionally circulatory system diseases dominated (47.4 percent, Russia — 53.9 percent). A share of deaths from malignant and benign tumors (11.1 and 15.4 percent, respectively), from accidents, poisonings and injuries (10.6 and 9.1) remains high.
