As of today about 12.5 thousand job vacancies are available in the capital of Bashkortostan officially. Since the beginning of the year the city jobs bank received information about availability of nearly 126,000 job vacancies.
According to Ufa Employment Eervice, unemployment is 1.11 percent in the capital. The intensity coefficient or a ratio of unemployed to the number of vacancies is equal to 0.54.
Currently, more than 6.2 thousand "official" unemployed are in Ufa. Now about 6.8 thousand of Ufa residents are registered at labour exchange.
Since the beginning of 2013 over 15.8 thousand unemployed found jobs with the help of the Employment Service. About 1.8 thousand Ufa townspeople were directed to free training and re-training to trades demanded in the modern labour market.
From the beginning of the year, more than 11.6 thousand people were recognized as unemployed in the Bashkir capital, about 13,000 unemployed were stricken off the register.
As a whole over the republic during January-October 2013 more than 41.5 thousand people were recognized as unemployed in the region compared with nearly 48,000 in the same period last year.
Almost 46,000 unemployed were stricken off the register at Bashkortostan Employment Service for this time. It is worth noting that more than half of them have found jobs. 13 percent (more than 5.7 thousand people) started vocational training. Three percent of the unemployed (about 1.4 thousand inhabitants of the republic) have retired. 34 percent (about 15.7 thousand unemployed) de-registered for other reasons.
