BST Project “Big Suitcase. Acoustic Tour with Troubadour" is in the final of "My Planet" TV channel
The project by Bashkir satellite TV "Big Suitcase. Acoustic Tour with Troubadour "- is among the finalists of the National Prize for travelling discoveries by "My Planet" TV channel. The awarding ceremony will take place in the Moscow House of Music on November 14. The top three in the category "TV Travel Program" along with Bashkir TV program includes "Neputevye Zametki" by Dmitry Krylov (Channel One) and TV project by KP -TV.
This year about 450 applications were submitted for the competition. The most popular was the category "Photo Travel" (over 120 applications), "Thematic Rest" (more than 80) and "A Travel Blog" (about 40 applications). Only 42 projects reached the final.
Jury of the award includes more than 80 people — tourism industry recognized experts, journalists, travelers and opinion leaders.
“Big Suitcase. Acoustic Tour with Troubadour" — a project by Rustem Adnabaev, chief director of "Tamyr" TV channel is carried out in collaboration with musician and TV presenter Ruslan Farshatov. The project tells the story of an extraordinary journey across the cities and countries of the world. Its uniqueness is that familiarity with cities and countries is made through sounds. The presenter of the project – a travelling musician seeks for the acoustics of a city. In the final, he tries to earn dinner for his crew with the help of local music hits performed in the most crowded street.
Now the second season of the BST project runs. Acoustic trips through provincial cities of the Czech Republic, Polish Krakow have been already broadcasted. Soon viewers will meet with Hungary and the Greek island of Crete.
The TV project has two more awards — at the National TV contest "Taffy -Region" ("Ideas Pitching"), and in the category "Best Presenter" at the National TV Festival "Voice of Eurasia".
