102,000 Russians took part in the Internet-voting for the graphic representation of the ruble begun the day before and organized by the official website of the Bank of Russia.
As the press service of the Central Bank informs, 76 percent of voters were men. The most active were citizens aged 25 to 34 years old (almost 45 percent). The vast majority of voters (88 percent) have graduate or undergraduate education.
The most popular version of the graphic symbol of the Russian ruble gained 62 percent of votes, an outsider — less than two percent. The Central Bank does not disclose which of the options has been so successful at the start.
The online voting will be conducted at the website of the regulatory authority for a month, until December 5.
