In Bashkortostan the International social movement «The Centre of Public Diplomacy» is founded. The Centre has its Charter already approved, its chairman is elected and governing bodies of the new organisation are formed. According to the Charter approved unanimously, work of the Centre assumes assistance to objective perception in the world of political, cultural, scientific and educational transformations in the Russian society, and also advancement abroad of historical truth about Russia, counteraction to attempts of its history falsification.
At the foundation meeting of the new movement it was marked that the Centre carried out its activity in the Russian Federation without the state registration and acquisition of a legal body powers, according to the Law of the Russian Federation «On public associations», and abroad – under the terms of international law, with observance of international law acts with participation of the Russian Federation.
Konstantin Safronov was elected the director of «The Centre of Public Diplomacy» by a majority of founders vote.
