On October 1, the Women’s World Draughts Championship starts in Ulan Bator. It will be held in three categories: classic, blitz and quick draughts.
Two reigning world champions arrived there from Ufa — Tamara Tansykkuzhina who has won five times the world champion title in the most prestigious, classic category, and Aigul Idrisova, the world champion in blitz. It is not the first championship in Mongolia for Aigul — two years ago she became the bronze prize-winner of the world championship among girls there.
