Farms of Bashkiria prepare at present more than 1,7 million tons of haylage for the forthcoming cattle wintering, or 82 percent of the planned volume, and 582 thousand tons of silage (31 percent of the plan).
Haymaking proceeds as part of forage conservation campaign-2013 in the republic.
Tatyshlinsky region is the leading on silage stocks which farms prepared 58 thousand tons of this juicy forage for the forthcoming cattle wintering. This indicator is equal 34 and 31,3 thousand tons in Meleuzovsky and Kuyurgazinsky regions accordingly.
Chekmagushevsky region is the first on haylage preparation – 101,5 thousand tons. Farms of Dyurtyulinsky and Ilishevsky regions for today prepared 94,6 and 78,1 thousand tons of haylage, accordingly.
As the press-service of the Ministry of Agriculture RB informs, now on average 21,3 cwts of fodder units are prepared per conditional head of cattle in the republic.
