Rustem Khamitov has handed over state awards of the Russian Federation and Bashkortostan Republic

The President of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov handed over state awards of the Russian Federation and Bashkortostan Republic on Friday, September 6. Medals, awards and ranks of the honoured workers were received by teachers, doctors, scientists, journalists and production workers, public sector employees.

Opening a solemn ceremony, Rustem Khamitov thanked the awarded people for their contribution to the country and republic development.

Names of many of them are well-known in the professional environment not only in Bashkortostan but also beyond its limits. The managing director of JSC Ufa Engine Industrial Association (UMPO) Alexander Artyuhov was awarded an Order of Honour.

“This high state award is first of all recognition of merits of all personnel working at UMPO. Today UMPO is both a developer and manufacturer of aviation engines, and not just the leader, but a unique working structure in this sphere in the Russian Federation, uniting all stages of life cycle,” Alexander Artyuhov said. By the way, today more than 19,5 thousand people work at UMPO and its branches in Moscow and the Moscow Region.

The academician-secretary of medical sciences branch of the Academy of Sciences RB Vil Timerbulatov was awarded with the Order of Friendship; the director of Ufa Scientific Research Institute of Eye Diseases of the Academy of Sciences RB Mukharram Bikbov was appropriated the rank «Honoured doctor of the Russian Federation», and the teacher of Ufa secondary comprehensive school No.31 with profound studying of separate subjects Alla Pavlova was awarded the rank «Honoured teacher of the Russian Federation».

Rustem Khamitov handed over medals «For Life Saving» to Yuriy Mihailov, the pupil of vocational college No.132 from Starosubhangulovo village and Alexander Fedulov, the student of M.Akmulla’s Bashkir State Pedagogical University.

Total 46 people received awards today.
