Rustem Khamitov and Michael Babich have congratulated cadets of Bashkir military school on the Knowledge Day in Ishimbay
On Monday, September 2, a solemn line-up of pupils of the Bashkir military school of Volga Federal District took place in Ishimbay. Michael Babich, the plenipotentiary of the President of the Russian Federation in PFO (Volga Federal District) and Rustem Khamitov, the President of Bashkortostan have congratulated cadets and teachers on the Knowledge Day and the beginning of new academic year. The republican military school was transformed into educational institution of the federal level under the terms of the project "KaDetstvo" by summer this year.
The President RB Rustem Khamitov marked that a new status assumed new, higher stage of development. The military school should develop and it will be made together with Volga Federal District. Sports facilities will appear, educational classes will be reconstructed at the educational institution. Addressing to cadets, the President urged them to study seriously.
Now more than 320 cadets at the age from 11 till 18 years live and study in the building. Teenagers from different regions of our republic and other subjects of the Russian Federation: the Chelyabinsk, Orenburg Region, Perm Territory, Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous District the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous District study at the school. Pupils of children's homes, children from needy and large families also study there. By the way, there are 25 girls among cadets.
As part of the project implementation it is planned to increase number of pupils to 600 people. The studying facilities will be modernized. It is planned to construct an additional bedroom block (for today there are two hostels), a sports and recreation centre, a stadium, a multipurpose arena, a shooting gallery and a universal sports ground.
Michael Babich and Rustem Khamitov examined educational classes, a sports hall and a museum, and also had a conversation with cadets.
Total current year 15 thousand young men entered military schools in Russia, it is by 7,5 times more than the last year. 100 young cadets will start the new academic year at Bashkir military school — it is four full army platoons.
