An exhibition of the national artist of Tatarstan Republic Abrek Abzgildin will be held in the "Izhad" exhibition hall of the M.V.Nesterov’s Bashkir State Art Museum from September 3 till September 25.
Abrek Abzgildin was born in Baimak. In 1965 he finished the Kazan Art School, in 1970 — the Surikov’s Moscow State Academic Art Institute. The same year, having returned to Kazan, he became one of leading masters of monumental art in Tatarstan.
The artist is engaged in easel painting, graphic arts, makes some experiments in ceramics.
A series of works «Salavat Yulaev», and also portraits of our contemporaries («Zemfira’s Portrait», «Alsu’s Portrait») will be presented at the exhibition in Ufa.
A press conference with participation of the artist will take place in "Izhad" gallery on September 3, at 14 o'clock, the exhibition opening is at 16 o'clock, local time.
