At the first congress of representatives of press-services of nature protection departments of the Volga Federal District (PFO) taken place in the Ministry of Nature Management and Ecology of Bashkortostan, problems of interaction between the press-services of nature protection departments and journalists writing on ecological topics were discussed.
The Minister of Nature Management and Ecology RB Ildar Hadyev, the head of Agency for Press and Mass-Media Boris Melkoedov, the editor-in-chief of «Waste Recycling» magazine Galina Tsutskareva, the chief executive of noncommercial partnership «National Centre of Ecological and Epidemiological Safety» Vladislav Zhukov took part in the congress work.
The adviser of public authorities activity coverage department of the press-service of the Presidential Administration RB Gaziz Yusupov, the head of the press-service of the Ministry of Ecology of Tatarstan Republic Aigul Amirova, the co-ordinator of projects with mass-media of the World Wild Nature Fund Maria Vinokurova, the editor-in-chief of Bashinform News Agency Shamil Valeev shared their experience in the ecological sphere coverage.
Following the results of the round-table conference participants accepted recommendations providing effective interaction of public organisations, business community and civil society represented by active citizens with public authorities according to the Principles of State policy in the area of environmental development of the Russian Federation for the period up to the year 2030. It is entrusted to ministries to elaborate implementation procedure of the project «Public Ecological Receptions», to develop programs and concepts of socially-ecological education of population and to generate a pool of experts on ecological subjects in the Volga Federal District.
The first congress of representatives of the press-services of PFO nature protection departments will proceed with a press tour over the territory of «Muradymovsky Gorge» Natural Park in Kugarchinsky region of Bashkiria.
