Ilgam Valiev will sing at Kazan Opera and Ballet Theatre
The honoured artist of Bashkortostan, the winner of a special jury award of «Golden Mask» festival for the part of Prince in Sergey Prokofiev's opera «Love For Three Oranges» (2012), nowadays the soloist of Yekaterinburg Opera and Ballet Theatre Ilgam Valiev carries on negotiations for possible participation in performances of the following season at Kazan Opera and Ballet Theatre, Tatar-inform Information Agency informs.
Today a young, but celebrated vocalist Ilgam Valiev is the talk of Yekaterinburg public. His performances, especially in the Tatar language, create a furore in the city.
Young years Ilgam spent in Imyanlekulevo Bashkir village of Chekmagushevsky region. Actors of the Ufa Philharmonic Society were frequent visitors in his paternal home. Ilgam also made his first appearance on the stage with the songs from their repertoire.
Today Ilgam Valiev works in several Ural cities: Perm, Chelyabinsk and Yekaterinburg. He considers Bashkir State Opera and Ballet Theatre as his second native home.
In the following season the singer dreams to sing on the opera stage in Kazan. «For each Tatar Kazan is Mecca. Kazan theatre is Mecca for me», the winner of "the Golden Mask» says.
