In the Central building of the Ahmet-Zaki Validi National Library RB the «Great Mosques of the World» art exhibition is opened on August 6, dated for the end of sacred month Ramazan and Uraza-Bairam holiday.
As the National Library RB informs, the exposition includes 12 picturesque canvases where Islamic temples are depicted: the Mosque of Sultan Akhmet in Istanbul, the Great Mosque in Kuwait, Mosque Kalon in Bukhara, Mosque Badzhahi in Pakistan, Mosque Bibi Khanum in Samarkand and other temples which became monuments of architecture and world culture.
The given exhibition is only a small part of an extensive collection of the Ufa "25 prophets" mosque. The collection includes about 60 works — photos and picturesque canvases. At various times they were exhibited at the Ufa Congress hall and Gostiny Dvor art gallery.
The exhibition opening is at 16 o'clock local time, at the address: 4, Lenin Street, Ufa.
