Bashkiria will be visited by participants of cycle-travel devoted to Universiade-2013

On June 27, participants of round-the-world cycle-travel devoted to the XXVII World Summer Universiade-2013 and a 100th anniversary of similar travel by Kazan native Onisim Pankratov will arrive at Ufa.

As the Ministry of Youth Policy and Sports RB informs, the route with 21000 km length and 244 days duration goes across 13 countries of the world and a lot of cities, including the cities welcomed the Universiade previously: Moscow (1973), Warsaw (1924), Turin (1959/70), Beijing (2001), Harbin (2009).

Cycle-travellers Alain Hairullin and Pavel Grachev from Kazan started on November 3, 2012, further went to Lisbon (Portugal) across the territory of Russia and Western Europe. From February 1 till April 2, 2013 they successfully crossed the territory of the USA from New York to Los Angeles, from the Atlantic to Pacific Ocean.

From April 5 till May 1, they passed the way from Beijing to Manchuria on the border with the Russian Federation.

According to the schedule, bicyclists will cross the border of Bashkortostan on June 25. Travellers will go across Iglinsky region, further they will arrive at the republican capital where they will meet with members of Ufa cycling clubs.

Then Alain Hairullin and Pavel Grachev will ride across Ufa, Chishminsky, Blagovarsky, Buzdyaksky, Tuimazinsky region.

The city of Octyabrsky will be the final point in their route across Bashkortostan where cycle-travellers will cross solemnly the border with Tatarstan Republic.
