Defence attaches of Europe have studied economic, social and political potential of Bashkiria
A delegation of defence attaches of the European countries is paying a fact-finding visit to Bashkortostan. The visitors representing Embassies of Austria, Belgium, Germany, the Netherlands, Switzerland in the Russian Federation, familiarised with sightseeing places of the capital of our republic, visited the Petro-Pavlovsk Temple, a mosque. In Nagaevo they examined conditions of migrants residing. Also the delegation laid wreaths to the memorial of victims in the plane crash over the Boden See.
A formal party of the delegation on behalf of the Bashkortostan Republic government took place the day before. The defence attaché of the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany in the Russian Federation Joachim Bruns said that the visit purpose was to establish contacts for the subsequent economic, social and political cooperation.
Simon Eugster, the Defence, Military, Naval and Air Attaché compared Bashkiria with his native land, where representatives of different cultures and beliefs live tolerantly together.
