Ministry of Emergency Measures of Bashkiria asks inhabitants to be attentive, cautious and calm in connection with "Bion M" space vehicle landing

On the forthcoming Sunday, May 19, in the south of Bashkiria the landing of "Bion M" space vehicle is expected. In this occasion the Main Bashkortostan Office of the Ministry of Emergency Measures of Russia (EMERCOM) distributed an address to inhabitants of the region where people are asked «to be attentive, cautious and hold their peace and order». As the employee of the press-service of the republican Ministry of Emergency Measures Vadim Gaynanov informs, the landing of "Bion M" space vehicle will occur in the morning from 9.01 till 9.12 local time, on May 19 in the territory of Bashkortostan and the Orenburg Region.

The corresponding notification on behalf of the Main Bashkortostan Office of Emercom of Russia was made also by mobile communications by means of SMS-dispatch over the republican territory.

According to Roskosmos data, "Bion M" is the Russian space vehicle intended for research making in the field of space biology, physiology and biotechnology. The capsule with animals onboard was put into orbit on April 19, having started from the Baikonur cosmodrome (Kazakhstan). The satellite crew included 45 mice, 8 sand eels, 15 geckoes, snails, crustaceans, fish and various microorganisms over which it was planned to spend more than 80 experiments.
