The Sterlitamaksky region became the second region in Bashkortostan where from the beginning of the year was received more than 2000 kg of milk from each cow. It should be mentioned that Chekmagushevsky region was the first to reach the two-thousandth boundary on milk yield.
As the press-service of the Ministry of Agriculture RB informs, on average over the republic it is received more than 1,3 thousand kg of milk from each cow from the beginning of 2013. Daily average milk yield per cow reaches now 11,9 kg. The greatest amount of milk is received today in Sterlitamaksky (17,2 kg), Meleuzovsky (16,6 kg) and Chekmagushevsky (16,2 kg) regions.
In total from the beginning of 2013 it is made about 480,7 thousand tons of milk in the republic, it is sold more than 214 thousand tons.
