Bashkortostan presented its economic potential in Embassies of Kazakhstan and Turkey in Moscow

Presentations of investment and economic potential of Bashkortostan took place in Moscow, in the Embassies of Kazakhstan and Turkey in the Russian Federation.

Bashkortostan Republic was presented by the Deputy Prime-Minister of the Government RB Salavat Sagitov, the head of Ufa administration Irek Yalalov, the vice-president of Chamber of Commerce and Industry RB Pavel Barmin and other officials.

The meeting of the Bashkir delegation with the Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Kazakhstan Republic in the Russian Federation Galym Orazbakov, and also with representatives of business community and mass-media of Kazakhstan took place on May 14. Variants of further cooperation between two republics were considered there. Among them there are joint projects in the sphere of mechanical engineering, petrochemistry, woodworking, pharmacology, tourism and grain processing.

Besides, Galym Orazbakov suggested considering possibility of direct flights between cities of Kazakhstan and Ufa, and also opening of the trading house of Bashkortostan Republic in Astana for strengthening economic relations and inter-regional cooperation.

The day before, on May 15, the presentation of Bashkortostan took place in the Embassy of Turkey in Russia. The Bashkir delegation was welcomed by the Ambassador Plenipotentiary of Turkish Republic in the Russian Federation Aydin Sezgin. At the meeting there were also representatives of small and medium business of Turkey, heads of large enterprises and chairmen of large associations of industrialists.

Turkish part was especially interested in cluster strategy of industry development of Bashkortostan and large investment projects realised in the republic.

As it is informed on the website of the Government of Bashkortostan, following the results of the meeting the decision on visit organisation of Turkish business community delegation to Ufa for detailed studying of potential of the region and possibilities for further cooperation was accepted.
