The Transport Prosecutor’s Office plans to initiate suspension of the certificate of LLC Bashkortostan Airlines because of backdated salaries to flight personnel and employees, RIA Novosti informs referring to the representative of the Ufa Transport Prosecutor’s Office.
The regulatory authorities revealed that Bashkortostan Airlines being a part of "VIM-AVIA" Group did not pay wages for February-April to 151 workers for the total sum of more than 25 million rbl. Inspectors of the Ufa transport investigatory department initiated a criminal case on nonpayment of wages, which provides an interdiction to be engaged in a certain activity for a term up to one year or imprisonment for the same period of time.
According to the representative of the Transport Prosecutor’s Office, the issue is considered on initiation of procedure suspending the certificate of the airlines operator’s till elimination of infringements of employees’ rights.
Bashkortostan Airlines were created in 2005. Flights are carried out in various regions of the Russian Federation, the Near East, Europe, Indochina, Africa, Middle and Central Asia. The airlines have an admission to perform flights to 320 airports of the world. The park of aircrafts of the airlines totals three planes Boeing 757-200 and one Diamond DA-42.
