On Victory Day ice-hockey Russia will fight with Frenchmen

On Thursday, May 9, on the Victory Day the Russian national team will have an easy contender at the International Ice-Hockey Championship, unlike the previous tournaments. Russians will meet with Frenchmen in Finland and Sweden where the present Championship is held.

The Russian national team is a single team at the tournament which did not lose any points. It has three victories in its record – over Latvia (6:0), Germany (4:1) and the USA (5:3). In first two matches Alexander Svitov, still "Salavat Yulaev" player scored goals (by 99 percent he is now the player of Kazan «Ak Bars»).

The match against Frenchmen will start at 17:15 Moscow time.
