Bashkortostan delegation studied UNESCO creative competences in Great Britain

The Committee RB for UNESCO Affairs at support of the Committee  of the Russian Federation for UNESCO affairs took part in the «Creative competences in the European context» international educational project.

Within the limits of this project the delegation of Committee RB for UNESCO affairs visited London, the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. The delegation included 27 active participants of UNESCO movement in the republic— schoolchildren, students, teachers from Ufa, Salavat, Neftekamsk and Sibay.

As the press-service of Committee RB for UNESCO Affairs informs, the program of Bashkortostan delegation staying in the UK included the English language courses at school in London, a meeting at the Rossotrudnichestvo office in London, and also sightseeing of the World Heritage objects of UNESCO in this country.

During a trip members of the delegation had a possibility to learn some facts from history and national culture of the Great Britain. They visited objects of the World Heritage of UNESCO, among which were Westminster Palace and Westminster Abbey, St. Margarita Church, the London Tower, Stonehenge, Avebury and adjoining archaeological objects.

The delegation visited the Turkic Navruz holiday in the Central Hall of Westminster in London where as a part of the Russian delegation the known Bashkir ethno-rock group "Argymak" gave a show.
