Bashkir grain elevators sold 38,6 thousand tons of intervention grain

38,6 thousand tons of grain from the intervention fund were sold from Bashkortostan elevators this year, the press-service of the Ministry of Agriculture RB informs.

The intervention auctions began in the region on February 6. Since then 17 auctions were spent.

According to the department of food markets development of the Ministry of Agriculture RB, at the auction on April 2-3 the price for wheat of the third class amounted to 7600-8025 rbl. per ton, of the fourth class — 7300, of the fifth — 8725. Cost per ton of bread rye was 5600 rbl., fodder barley — 7200-7500 rbl.

In Bashkortostan 13 granaries are entitled to keep grain of the intervention fund, among them is JSC «Sibaisky Elevator», CJSC «Raevsky elevator», CJSC «Aurgazinsky Pig Complex», LLC «Maksimovsky Pig Complex».

From the moment of the grain interventions start in Russia, that is since October, 2012, agricultural producers of Bashkortostan bought at the grain elevators of the republic and other regions 42,2 thousand tons of the intervention grain.

For today 47,7 thousand tons of the intervention grain are available at republican granaries. The greatest amount is constituted by the bread rye — 29,7 thousand tons.

The following auction on sale of the grain from the intervention fund is planned for April 9-10.
