Since Wednesday, March 20, the cold front will reach the republic. Since Tuesday evening in southern and southwest areas rains will begin to be replaced by snow and sleet. Towards the end of the week the probability of precipitation will decrease, and the air temperature will somewhat level off, Bashkir Hydrometeorological Centre reports.
“The main drop of temperature is expected on March 21 and 22,” Anna Kozaeva, the main weather forecaster of Bashkortostan informs. “The temperature across the republic will go down at nights to minus 5-10 degrees Celsius, at clearings - up to 15 degrees below zero. During the day the temperature will range from zero to minus five degrees Celsius.”
Meanwhile, despite unstable weather pattern and small cold spells, there is no anything extreme or extraordinary for the third decade of March to occur in the region.
It should be mentioned that since March 16, Bashkortostan was covered by the abnormal heat wave which came to our region from the Caspian Sea and Central Asia. However weather, usual for March is expected thereafter, Anna Kozaeva ascertained.
